You are faced with two cars before your eyes. To all that you can see, they are identical. They have the same tires, the same coat of paint, the same frame. In actuality, these are not the same cars. How can you tell? You have to look under the hood. In the same way, Christians and non-Christians “look” the same. We do much of the same things. How can you tell the difference? You have to look under the hood. What distinguishes a Christian from a non-Christian is a different engine. Biblically, the engine that drives the Christian is God the Spirit. In our Fruits series, we will discover what the Holy Spirit is working in the Christian, or, what He is driving them to. The work of the Holy Spirit is to grow the Christian into the character of Jesus. Each week, we will find out how the character of Jesus the Holy Spirit works into the Christian is fundamentally different.
